Dr. William Ross - Anchorage Chiropractor
William Ross, DC

Originally from Ireland, Dr. Ross graduated  from University College, Dublin in 1982, with a degree in Forestry Science. In 1998 he graduated from Western States Chiropractic College, a four year program located in Portland, OR. Formerly a math and science secondary teacher, he has taught in the Cordova, the Yukon Koyukuk and the Fairbanks School Districts.

Dr. Ross has advanced training in Whiplash Injury Biomechantics & Traumatology from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. He is certified by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners to provide second independent medical evaluations (SIMEs) for the State of Alaska Workman’s Comp Board.

Dr. Ross has been a resident of Alaska since 1982.  His spouse, Tina, is a licensed Psychologist who works in Anchorage and his son, Blue, works in human services in Juneau Alaska.  Dr. Ross’s philosophy on health extends into his personal life with a focus on food and nutrition.  To this end, he and his wife spend summer months maintaining a large vegetable garden and orchard.  Their goal is to be as self reliant in the food they eat as possible.  They also raise their own free range chickens and turkeys. In his free-time, Dr. Ross enjoys walking his two dogs, a Westie (Mo Gra)  and Scottie (Finn), along the Anchorage Coastal Wildlife Refuge.  He also enjoys bird-watching, fishing, and rafting on the Kenai River.
